Egypt is the only country that have these many diverse breeds of pigeon, which is considered the most beautiful strains of pigeon on the earth and also the oldest and most of these breeds arrived to Egypt thousands of years ago, Egyptian fanciers saved ,develop and improve these breeds because they love them because of their beauty and its ability to fly for long periods, The case has reached us that these breeds have become deteriorated exposed in the extinction of some breeds and this is due to many factors such as 1-Hybridization between the diverse breeds of the Egyptian pigeon by the pigeon traders to obtain certain specifications which leads to the disappearance of the original standards over time 2-the non - Documenting accepted standard, and we trying collecting information about the accepted standards for the Egyptian pigeon breeds and order it and documented it to be a reference for the Egyptian pigeon standards.
